My recent stay at Doon The Toon Villa was absolutely wonderful! The apartment exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the comfortable beds, spaciousness, and fully equipped kitchen. The thoughtful touch of a fresh loaf of bread waiting for me was such a nice gesture. I especially appreciated the convenience of having a washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as an iron and hair dryer provided. The cozy feel of the apartment and attention to detail made it a truly enjoyable experience. The location was perfect for quiet walks along the coastal path, offering breathtaking views. I highly recommend taking a walk from St Monans to Elie - it's truly beautiful. I also had some amazing seafood at the Ship's Inn in Elie and Waterfront in Anstruther. The friendly and helpful people I encountered throughout my stay made it even more memorable. I can't recommend Doon The Toon Villa enough. It truly made my week in this charming area unforgettable.
While there were plenty of parking spots on the road and the area was quiet, I was a bit cautious about parking on the road. Additionally, I found it a bit disappointing that there wasn't an outside area to sit and enjoy the sun, but I understand that it's a feature of the type of building.

My family and I recently stayed at a lovely apartment in a great location, just a stone's throw away from a beautiful harbor. The apartment was clean, spacious, and furnished to a high standard. The hosts were incredibly helpful and even provided complimentary bread and jam. We enjoyed exploring the stunning coastline and picturesque fishing village. Despite a minor issue with the shower pressure, our stay was enjoyable overall. I would highly recommend this apartment for a family break in this amazing part of Scotland. I highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful stay at Doon The Toon Villa for a few days of exploring the East Neuk coastline. The apartment was beautifully furnished, clean, and comfortable. The hosts thoughtfully provided all the essentials like milk, teabags, coffee, and even bread and biscuits. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the harbour area. We were even lucky enough to find parking right outside. Highly recommended for a homely and well-equipped stay in a central location.

The space was perfect with all the necessary facilities and the extra special touches like milk, tea, coffee, bread, and biscuits provided made me feel right at home. The cleanliness of the villa was impeccable and the information book provided all the necessary details for a smooth stay. The location was fabulous, so close to the beautiful harbor area. I even managed to find parking right outside, which was a great convenience.
I also found it a bit disappointing that there was no outside area to sit and enjoy the sun, but I understand that this is a feature of the old building's proximity to the harbor. It wouldn't be a concern for a younger family who is out and about all day, but as an elderly person with limited mobility, it is something worth considering.

I recently stayed at a lovely ground floor flat in a seaside village. The cleanliness of the flat was impeccable, and I was delighted to find a welcome pack including bread, jam, tea, coffee, milk. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the shower in the bathroom was excellent. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful East Neuk of Fife. I also enjoyed dining at the nearby Giddy Gannet and East Pier Smokehouse restaurants. it felt like a home away from home.
One minor drawback was the lack of clear instructions on how to handle recyclables and rubbish at the end of the stay. It would have been helpful to have guidance on this.
